Real Estate: has always been a key component of our financial independence plan.
Learn more about why we picked Costa Rica for real estate investment, how to pick your own first real estate investment, how to build your team when you don't have one, how to research a property manager, and how we used our retirement funds to add to our real estate portfolio. We also argue both sides of whether you should have real estate in your own investment portfolio.
FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early): Our perspective is a bit different than most - that pursuing FIRE is smart for managing your career and your finances, even if you don't intend to retire early.
We've written about why FIRE is a useful career planning tool, why pursuing FIRE is more important as you age, how to explain employment gaps, the one question that changed our perspective, and the freedoms that come with FIRE.
