Snowy day in April in New York City as we head out on trip to Philippines

In March, Caroline and I took a trip to Tamarindo, Costa Rica.  Just before our trip, we had a little winter storm in New York, so we were very glad to be able to escape for a few days and enjoy the beautiful sunny and dry season in Tamarindo.  In fact, it had snowed several times in New York City in the last few weeks, making the winters end even more unbearable than usual.

Today Caroline and I are jetting off to the Philippines, and check the photo above for the snowy weather this morning (even though it is April) as we headed out to the airport!  As the snow will just not end in New York, we are really looking forward to 80’s and humid for a few days!

The agenda for our trip is to visit Legazpi City, in the Bicol region of the Philippines, to visit a non-profit over there that we support.  It is located right next to the Mayon Volcano, which has a perfect cone shape, and has been erupting over the last few months.

Then we’ll spend the weekend in Manila, where among other things, we’ll of course be taking another look at Philippine real estate!
